There has been so much violence reported in the news this past week; knife violence, gun violence, violent robbing of the elderly. Why? Where does it start? Surely no one is born to kill, to hurt, to destroy? So is something missing in the people who perpetuate violence, who have no respect for life, for other people? For themselves? Or has no one taught them another way?

Hi Katie. Good questions! It seems violence is an in-built part of the lives of some people from an early age, violence they see all around them, and violence that they experience themselves. They see certain types of people simply as vulnerable, potential victims. Life is a game where the police are the opposition.
